After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Kauan Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Edmílson Aguiar managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Internacional de Polvilho's Fiori Dionísio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th minute Internacional de Polvilho were awarded a corner. Juninho Velloso went to the cornerflag to take it. Internacional de Polvilho's Juninho Velloso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmílson Aguiar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
