The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, Real Parque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Cabral to maneuver through the defense. Walter Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinei de Amorim in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute Genílson Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Szczęsny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Walter Szczęsny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes of play, Real Parque FC's Dinei de Amorim made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Szczęsny was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jânio de Amorim's late challenge caught a MathGus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jânio de Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, one of Real Parque FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Parque FC. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for MathGus FC. Diguinho Rosa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Geraldo de Medeiros. 1-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Genílson Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Parque FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genílson Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Genílson Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Szczęsny. MathGus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genílson Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Walter Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Dinei de Amorim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Szczęsny was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 41 minutes into the match, MathGus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei de Amorim came free, but Walter Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes MathGus FC got a freekick which was hit by Victor Coelho. Walter Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genílson Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. MathGus FC's Walter Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genílson Miranda in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Real Parque FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Genílson Mirandas short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Walter Szczęsny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 57 played minutes MathGus FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José de Alcântara. Genílson Miranda's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Walter Szczęsny skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Matheus Soares hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Walter Szczęsny was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Christiano Linares. MathGus FC's Walter Szczęsny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save MathGus FC from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, MathGus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei de Amorim came free, but Walter Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes, Marcinho Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MathGus FC and the Real Parque FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walter Szczęsny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinei de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dinei de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genílson Miranda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 88th playminute. In the 93rd minute, Dinei de Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Walter Szczęsny. The goal made the score 1-6. Real Parque FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
