Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Murilo Santana notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F.C Skoud's João Carlos de Sena. João Carlos de Sena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes in the game Ruy Pinho did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Celsinho Rodrigues. Emerson de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. João Carlos de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes F.C Skoud got a freekick which was hit by Wellington dos Santos. Pensamento's Emerson de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Celsinho Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes F.C Skoud got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Abraão. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 55th minute, Hamílton Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. F.C Skoud's Tarcisio Macedo got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Carlos de Sena was a little too slow when Emerson de Moraes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2. With a little luck, F.C Skoud's João Carlos de Sena got control of the ball when Emerson de Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcus Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Murilo Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Carlos de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murilo Santana's late challenge caught a F.C Skoud's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murilo Santana helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to F.C Skoud getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marcus Abraão hit a great ball. Pensamento's Murilo Santana shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by João Carlos de Sena but with some difficulty. When the final whistle went the supporters of Pensamento were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant F.C Skoud side.
