The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. MathGus FC's Walter Szczęsny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Moura in the 19th minute of play. Walter Szczęsny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Moura in the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in CORINTHIANS OURINHENSE's zone, Paulo José de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Rodrigues came out of the goal and Paulo José de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinícius Carioca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Walter Szczęsny made a huge save. MathGus FC's Walter Szczęsny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save MathGus FC from getting a goal against them. Walter Szczęsny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinícius Carioca in the 29th minute. Walter Szczęsny made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Vinícius Carioca sent off a good shot on target. MathGus FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, MathGus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Moura came free, but Walter Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinícius Carioca in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Szczęsny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was beautiful to see CORINTHIANS OURINHENSE's Daniel Nóbrega in action when he in the 91st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Moura in the 93rd minute of play forced MathGus FC's goalkeeper Walter Szczęsny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
