A collision led to Rufa FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tales Moreira hit a great ball. After 35 minutes of play, Rufa FC's Marcel de Medeiros made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Berger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcel de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Berger having to interfere. Marcel de Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Mateus Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rufa FC. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel de Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcel de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateus Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel de Medeiros in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Veiga to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Vicente Guerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corinthians's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rufa FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Corinthians's Vicente Guerra got a free kick in the 80th minute. It was beautiful to see Rufa FC's Alan França in action when he in the 82nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Tales Moreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateus Berger having to make a save. Corinthians's Mateus Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel de Medeiros in the 86th minute of play. When Rufa FC's Tales Moreira in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
