Atlético Maneiro FC's Almir Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jailson Saraiva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Téo Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Flávio Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Evandro Tinoco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Maneiro FC's Flávio Luz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evandro Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio Luz having to interfere. Atlético Maneiro FC's Flávio Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Camargo in the 44th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Evandro Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pegasus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evandro Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flávio Luz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Almir Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When Evandro Tinoco, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 57 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Flávio Luz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evandro Tinoco in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flávio Luz saved Atlético Maneiro FC from getting behind. After having played for 80 minutes, Téo Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pegasus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute, Pegasus FC's Evandro Tinoco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 87 played minutes Pegasus FC got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Santos. In the 88th minute, Washington Brodel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pegasus FC's João Adolfo Ramos didn't even have to move. João Adolfo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Almir Rodrigues in the 91st minute of play. Téo Camargo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Pegasus FC's Evandro Tinoco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Pegasus FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
