Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5424, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Diguinho Paraibano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Abreu in the 4th minute of play forced Clube Esportivo Pacheco's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Rafa Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Horácio Bertassi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delfim Abreu in the 13th minute of the match. Giuseppe Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giuseppe Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Theophilus SC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Giuseppe Quirino hit a great ball. Carlos Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Fontes having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Theophilus SC's zone, Diguinho Paraibano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Fontes came out of the goal and Diguinho Paraibano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes of play, Theophilus SC's Wellington Macedo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodriguinho Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Theophilus SC's Delfim Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodriguinho Furtado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wellington Macedo's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Gildo Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arí Fontes was a little too slow when Diguinho Paraibano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. Rodriguinho Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Wellington Macedo took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Rodriguinho Furtado to make any attempt to save it. Wellington Macedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodriguinho Furtado having to make a save. Delfim Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute of the match Matheus Dionísio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arí Fontes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Delfim Abreu scored 1-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodriguinho Furtado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Esportivo Pacheco's zone, Delfim Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Furtado came out of the goal and Delfim Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Theophilus SC's Wellington Macedo in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 87thth minute of the game Wellington Macedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Esportivo Pacheco's Rodriguinho Furtado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Delfim Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Theophilus SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodriguinho Furtado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Moura in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arí Fontes saved Theophilus SC from getting behind.
