In the 54th minute, Ian Varela fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Storm Selle, passed just outside the right post. Narciso Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Queirós having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Ramos got free with Storm Selle in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emílio Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cacá Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Although Dindo Pimbudo had been in control for most of the match, Pitombeiras EC still came away with the win.
