Enrique Soares stood somewhat misplaced when Joaquim Munhoz came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 52 minute. After a rather tough play, Digão SC's Fred Melo got a free kick in the 56th minute. Rafa Britto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerônimo Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute.
