Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Eduardo Campidelis started the match with the kick off. When Sílvio Vides fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraiso's protests and gave Sílvio Vides a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Paraiso got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Vides. After a defensive mix-up in Paraiso's zone, Sérgio Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin Arantes came out of the goal and Sérgio Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Paraiso's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Prestes came free, but Franklin Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Bittencourt charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphael Bittencourt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Paraiso's Raphael Bittencourt got a free kick in the 14th minute. Franklin Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Urbano in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Emboscada SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 19 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraiso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Eduardo Campidelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Afonso Prestes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emboscada SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Afonso Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Paraiso's Luiz Eduardo Campidelis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Paulo Dionísio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Eduardo Campidelis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Paulo Dionísio. That made the score 1-1 in the 44 minute of play. Ezequiel Leite recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sérgio Eger to make the kick off. Paraiso's Franklin Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Eger in the 54th minute of play. João Paulo Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match Betão de Amorim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franklin Arantes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luís Paulo Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Leite in the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, Rodolfo de Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emboscada SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraiso the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Emboscada SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. If Ezequiel Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Eduardo Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Luís Paulo Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Paulo Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Campidelis in the 70th minute of the match. Ezequiel Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Emboscada SC booed when Paraiso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Paraiso's goalkeeper Franklin Arantes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Prestes. 79 minutes in the game, Sérgio Eger fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Franklin Arantes having to interfere. Sérgio Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Franklin Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Prestes got free with Franklin Arantes in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afonso Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sérgio Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ezequiel Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Dionísio having to interfere. Sérgio Eger struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Franklin Arantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emboscada SC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Leite in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Paulo Dionísio saved Emboscada SC from getting behind.
