Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Adrianinho Moreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pitombeiras EC and the PODEROSO LEAO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Adrianinho Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cacá Prado's late challenge caught a PODEROSO LEAO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cacá Prado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute PODEROSO LEAO were awarded a corner. Anderson Goiano went to the cornerflag to take it. PODEROSO LEAO's Anderson Goiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emílio Queirós in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 16th minute Rafael Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Fernando Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emílio Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a little luck, PODEROSO LEAO's Horácio Velloso got control of the ball when Lucas Ramos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas Ramos could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Horácio Velloso however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Ramos got free with Horácio Velloso in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ian Varela struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Horácio Velloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pitombeiras EC. Horácio Velloso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 41st minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. If Ian Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Varela received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Horácio Velloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Ian Varela slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 49th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Gaúcho to make the kick off. Tadeu Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emílio Queirós made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Tadeu Palmeira sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of PODEROSO LEAO booed when Pitombeiras EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ian Varela came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Pitombeiras EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Varela couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the game, Lucas Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Horácio Velloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 72 minutes, Dalmo Brodel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PODEROSO LEAO and the Pitombeiras EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucas Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Velloso having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Rafael Gaúcho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emílio Queirós. Rafael Gaúcho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Horácio Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Varela in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Rafael Gaúcho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emílio Queirós. The goal made the score 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
