Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lucas Castro made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Lucas Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salgueirón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulysses Sabóia made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Váldson Diniz sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Emerson Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Telmo Sanches reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ulysses Sabóia. The goal made the score 1-0. The audience was convinced that Dário Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Coutinho was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Emanuel Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Salgueirón FC defense, Vitório Ceresso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulysses Sabóia. The Salgueirón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulysses Sabóia should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Itapiru's Váldson Diniz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Ulysses Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ulysses Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulysses Sabóia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitório Ceresso in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute, Telmo Sanches hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Váldson Diniz charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Váldson Diniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Itapiru got a freekick which was hit by Váldson Diniz. A collision led to Salgueirón FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alexandre Tepedino hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Itapiru's Telmo Sanches dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. With a little luck, Salgueirón FC's Ulysses Sabóia got control of the ball when Vitório Ceresso tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
A collision led to Itapiru getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dida Vander hit a great ball. Emanuel Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Castro in the 53rd minute of the match. Ulysses Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitório Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Ceresso in the 62nd minute of play forced Salgueirón FC's goalkeeper Ulysses Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Salgueirón FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dário Arce hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Salgueirón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Sanches came free, but Ulysses Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Coutinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Queiroz in the 70th minute. Ulysses Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Salgueirón FC's Ulysses Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Sanches in the 76th minute of play. Ulysses Sabóia came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Itapiru's Vitório Ceresso. But to his dismay, Vitório Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. The supporters of Itapiru booed when Salgueirón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Salgueirón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vitório Ceresso came free, but Ulysses Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Reis took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulysses Sabóia. Ulysses Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Emanuel Coutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Castro went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-2 was the resulting score. Itapiru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Salgueirón FC for a fine match.
