Nilmar Montenegro started the match with the kick off. A hard shot by Edmundo Meira from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Vivaldo Borges's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Cortado's zone, Evandro Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivaldo Borges came out of the goal and Evandro Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th match minute, BlaCK FenIX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Braga to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Nilmar Montenegro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BlaCK FenIX's Afonso de Brito didn't even have to move. Vivaldo Borges made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Luizão de Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Vivaldo Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Araújo in the 14th minute of the match. Antônio de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Lago in the 22nd minute of play forced BlaCK FenIX's goalkeeper Afonso de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cortado's Antônio de Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, BlaCK FenIX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otávio Braga to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Willian Leme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BlaCK FenIX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Evandro Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vivaldo Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, one of Cortado:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cortado. The goalkeeper, Vivaldo Borges, was totally fooled by BlaCK FenIX's Marcel Montenegro, who 38 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Evandro Araújo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vivaldo Borges came out and tried to block the shot, but Evandro Araújo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evandro Araújo to make the kick off. If Luizão de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso de Brito having to interfere. Claudinho Donatello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Afonso de Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Evandro Araújo came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the BlaCK FenIX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evandro Araújo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 69 minutes, Evandro Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BlaCK FenIX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evandro Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to BlaCK FenIX getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Daniel Varela hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Evandro Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Vivaldo Borges. Cortado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cortado's zone, Luizão de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivaldo Borges came out of the goal and Luizão de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. BlaCK FenIX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortado the free kick. After 79 played minutes BlaCK FenIX got a freekick which was hit by Willian Leme. After a rather tough play, BlaCK FenIX's Amadeu Tande got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 84 minutes of play, BlaCK FenIX's Evandro Araújo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vivaldo Borges was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Antônio de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Cortado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. Afonso de Brito made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Nilmar Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Luizão de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vivaldo Borges having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BlaCK FenIX fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cortado had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
