The Ars Ratio Tempus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Cabral should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Breckenfeld during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ars Ratio Tempus's Severino Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Bueno in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Paulo Bueno made the kick off in the second half. César Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Arruda in the 57th minute of the match. César Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimir Arruda in the 59th minute of play. Oscar Medeiros's late challenge caught a Adeus Metallica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fernando da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ars Ratio Tempus had won after a very even match.
