João Pedro de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bebeto de Sousa took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marquinhos Abreu. Pedrinho Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Marquinhos Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marquinhos Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Paraense in the 34th minute of play. João Pedro de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos Abreu having to interfere. If Bebeto de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Bebeto de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Teles in the 65th minute of play forced Cruuz Credo FC's goalkeeper João Pedro de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pedrinho Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
