Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Lech Pahucki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bebeto de Sousa. Cruuz Credo FC's João Pedro de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yunus Akbora in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Bobbie Bobikov notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cruuz Credo FC's João Pedro de Amaral. João Pedro de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 24 minutes, Bobbie Bobikov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E. C. Flamengo Paraibano and the Cruuz Credo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to E. C. Flamengo Paraibano getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bobbie Bobikov hit a great ball. Lech Pahucki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bebeto de Sousa in the 26th minute. After taking down the ball on Cruuz Credo FC's corner Kléberson Catarinense fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lech Pahucki quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Lech Pahucki got control of the ball when Dalmo Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Yunus Akbora made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Pedro de Amaral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silas Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. João Pedro de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Silas Massa got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Bobbie Bobikov made the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Silas Massa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Pedro de Amaral quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cruuz Credo FC's goalkeeper João Pedro de Amaral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Breno da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breno da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cruuz Credo FC booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cruuz Credo FC's João Pedro de Amaral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Cruuz Credo FC from getting a goal against them. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Yunus Akbora was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 68th minute, Bebeto de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bobbie Bobikov struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. João Pedro de Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for E. C. Flamengo Paraibano. Yunus Akbora's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, João Pedro de Amaral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pedrinho Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dalmo Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. João Pedro de Amaral was a little too slow when Bobbie Bobikov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-6. Dorival Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmo Mendes in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lech Pahucki saved E. C. Flamengo Paraibano from getting behind. Yunus Akboras short, quick shot in the 97thth minute got João Pedro de Amaral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match was over E. C. Flamengo Paraibano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cruuz Credo FC throughout the match.
