Fabrício Fonseca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Fabrício Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luizão Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Fonseca having to interfere. Fabrício Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luizão Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wellington Almeida in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Campidelis saved Cabecas from getting behind. With a little luck, Cabecas's Rafael Campidelis got control of the ball when Thiago Capixaba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wellington Almeida to strike the kick off in the second half. Rafael Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Capixaba in the 51st minute of play. Rafael Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Almeida in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Yan Pimenta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cabecas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CZAR Sporting the free kick. CZAR Sporting's Wellington Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Capixaba in the 67th minute of play forced Cabecas's goalkeeper Rafael Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizão Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Cabecas booed when CZAR Sporting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiago Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Reynaldo Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luizão Silveira was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Cabecas booed when CZAR Sporting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Gustavo Pinho struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Fabrício Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabecas. The Cabecas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cabecas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
