Kléberson Galvão started the match with the kick off. Dorival Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Galvão in the 7th minute of play. Rafael Campidelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Sergipano in the 10th minute of the match. If Yan Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luizão Silveira got free with Dorival Silveira in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dorival Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute Kléberson Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Carlos Augusto Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, José Paulo Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st match minute, Seleto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Secco to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Sergipano in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Cabecas got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Pinho. In the 46th minute, Celsinho Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Augusto Sergipano to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Carlos Augusto Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Campidelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Cabecas's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Sergipano came free, but Rafael Campidelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edu Peres in the 59th minute of play forced Cabecas's goalkeeper Rafael Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match, José Paulo Leite got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Campidelis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Celsinho Secco fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seleto's protests and gave Celsinho Secco a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 minutes, Carlos Augusto Sergipano made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cabecas's Rafael Campidelis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicolas Aparecido hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cabecas's zone, Carlos Augusto Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Campidelis came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Augusto Sergipano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Campidelis having to make a save. Rafael Campidelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Paulo Leite in the 89th minute. Carlos Augusto Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rafael Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nico Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Campidelis having to interfere. Rafael Campidelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Augusto Sergipano in the 94th minute. Seleto's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
