Flayer de Munich's Amadeu Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Amadeu Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flayer de Munich's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Paes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Amadeu Paes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Moura was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Amadeu Paes scored 1-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Platelmintes FC's zone, Oséas Favoretto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Moura came out of the goal and Oséas Favoretto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Moura having to interfere. Amadeu Paes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Jonas Moura when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Platelmintes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Paes came free, but Jonas Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amadeu Paes came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Flayer de Munich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeu Paes couldn't finish the play. Carlos Eduardo Sá hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Chico Pires made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Almir Pontes however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Eduardo Meirelles got free with Nando Batista in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeu Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonas Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flayer de Munich were furious when Delfim Bueno was red carded, 94 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Chico Pires walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.
