When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walmyr Moura made a kick off. Hernani Linares struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. But to his dismay, Zé Carlos Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Correntina's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
