An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 37th minute. Alexandre Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Neves having to interfere. Rogério Monteiro scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Alberto Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogério Monteiro to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Alexandre Luz could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Carlos Alberto Neves however easily saved by the left post. Carlos Alberto Neves made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Alexandre Luz sent off a good shot on target. Alfredo Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero de Queiroz in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Clemente Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cícero de Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Senna having to interfere. If Rogério Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Clemente Negri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Senna was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The Montana EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bitumirim EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Bitumirim EC.
