In the 18th minute, Alberto Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Alberto Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorival Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Eguerdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alessandro Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorival Vasconcelos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matías Terra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. After 60 minutes of play, MARANATA's Anibal Eguerdi made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dorival Vasconcelos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Alberto Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayapua's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Secco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorival Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 84 minutes, Benê Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ayapua and the MARANATA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alessandro Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
