Dário Araújo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Tambaqui FC's Renato Perez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramiro Monteiro. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Renato Perez was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 87 minutes, Toninho Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerobas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Toninho Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robinho Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Lucas in the 89th minute of play. Manoel Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Robinho Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tambaqui FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cerobas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
