Pedro Luiz Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 15th minute, Allan Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luiz Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Henrique Faria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Allan Silva struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Pedro Luiz Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zico F.C. After a defensive mix-up in Camargo FC's zone, Jailson Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Meireles came out of the goal and Jailson Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 played minutes Camargo FC got a freekick which was hit by Doni Passos. 41 minutes into the match, Zico F.C's Allan Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Luiz Meireles narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jailson Seco to make the kick off. Zico F.C's Jailson Seco took a good shot, in the 51st minute, which hit the crossbar above Pedro Luiz Meireles's head, and flew over the goal. Camargo FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Zico F.C. Dino de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandro de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dino de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camargo FC's Pedro Luiz Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Camargo FC from getting a goal against them. Jailson Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Camargo FC's zone, Allan Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luiz Meireles came out of the goal and Allan Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Zico F.C's Pedro Luiz Meireles threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jailson Seco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Sandro de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camargo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro de Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino de Toledo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dino de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sandro de Andrade went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Alberto Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allan Silva came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Luiz Meireles could save by the left post. Jailson Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pedro Luiz Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Allan Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Henrique Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dino de Toledo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Allan Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Meireles having to interfere. Camargo FC's Pedro Luiz Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Catarinense in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute Sandro de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
