Marcel Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute, Percy Britto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Cancela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Lunáticos Clube's Percy Britto in action when he in the 100th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The Cancela players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
