Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anibal Eguerdi in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gernando Meirelles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Anibal Eguerdi came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the MARANATA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Eguerdi couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the game, MARANATA's Matías Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gernando Meirelles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Matías Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matías Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, MARANATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Terra to maneuver through the defense. Ivo Vianna's shot from long distance in the 26th minute was not bad at all, but MARANATA's Armandinho Secco knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. With an all-out effort, Poço de Merda's Armandinho Secco threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Willian Paulista, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, MARANATA's Matías Terra got a free kick in the 29th minute. Willian Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Armandinho Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dário Prado's late challenge caught a Poço de Merda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário Prado helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Anibal Eguerdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. MARANATA's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Eguerdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernando Meirelles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Matías Terra made a precise shot to the right of Gernando Meirelles. Poço de Merda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Willian Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Armandinho Secco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Armandinho Secco made a huge save. Armandinho Secco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oscar Souza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 45 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willian Paulista was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, MARANATA's Anibal Eguerdi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gernando Meirelles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Matías Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Poço de Merda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Tande to maneuver through the defense. Gernando Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Eguerdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Anibal Eguerdi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Anibal Eguerdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MARANATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Eguerdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Anibal Eguerdi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gernando Meirelles. That made the score 1-4 in the 90 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Paulista in the 94th minute of play forced MARANATA's goalkeeper Armandinho Secco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Meirelles went to the wrong direction when Eduardo Berger was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match was over MARANATA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Poço de Merda throughout the match.
