Jeferson Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Branco having to interfere. Tubibau's Jeferson Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tubibau's Rui Santana in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye H.Vianna Soccer Team's goalie prevented a goal. Rui Santanas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Zé Carlos Branco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Tubibau booed when H.Vianna Soccer Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to H.Vianna Soccer Team getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Adhemar Motta hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes H.Vianna Soccer Team got a freekick which was hit by Adhemar Motta. Rui Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Carlos Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Rui Santana might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Carlos Branco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rui Santana ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of H.Vianna Soccer Team booed when Tubibau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rui Santana in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos Branco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Zé Carlos Branco throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rui Santana in the 44thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 46th minute, Nicolas Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeferson Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Zé Carlos Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hudson Tepedino made a kick off. Rui Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Zé Carlos Branco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeca Santana's late challenge caught a Tubibau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeca Santana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute Jeferson Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Rui Santana put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zé Carlos Branco. After 71 played minutes H.Vianna Soccer Team got a freekick which was hit by Hudson Tepedino. The Tubibau fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Tubibau's Rui Santana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 80thth minute of the game Rui Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but H.Vianna Soccer Team's Zé Carlos Branco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 85 minutes into the match, H.Vianna Soccer Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Rosa came free, but Zé Carlos Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Carlos Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Santana in the 86th minute of the match. Jeferson Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Branco having to interfere. Zé Carlos Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Santana in the 93rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rui Santana in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Carlos Branco saved H.Vianna Soccer Team from getting behind. If Jeferson Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tubibau had played much better football throughout.
