If Jeferson Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute Rui Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano de Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Amorim hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Amadeu Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vitório de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Tubibau's goalkeeper Vitório de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arthur Gonçalves. Rui Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano de Castro having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Jeferson Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tubibau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeferson Rosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rui Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Tubibau's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Pinheiro came free, but Vitório de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Santana in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st match minute, Tubibau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Amorim to maneuver through the defense. Jeferson Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Caetano de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitório de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Donje-Ljubinje's Caetano de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio de Godoi in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, Donje-Ljubinje's Caetano de Castro got control of the ball when Rui Santana tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Antônio de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rui Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caetano de Castro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. With his leg Caetano de Castro managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Tubibau's Rui Santana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Tubibau's Nicolas Amorim got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Jeferson Rosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano de Castro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Rui Santana sped through Donje-Ljubinje's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caetano de Castro. Reinaldo Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Donje-Ljubinje got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Miranda. Jeferson Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano de Castro having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Dorian Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Tubibau left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Donje-Ljubinje.
