Thanks to some nice moves Arthur Gonçalves could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Giovanni Britto however easily saved by the left post. Donje-Ljubinje's Caetano de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Maranhense in the 22nd minute of play. When Toheroa's Rodrigo de Queiroz in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
