Marcinho Furlan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernandão Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Fernandão Sena came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by J.A. 100's Wilian de Souza. But to his dismay, Wilian de Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Marcinho Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. J.A. 100's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho Furlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandão Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcinho Furlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Fernandão Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valério Magalhães succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 45th playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiaguinho Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Téo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Magalhães in the 52nd minute of play. When Júlio Madureira fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored J.A. 100's protests and gave Júlio Madureira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, J.A. 100's Júlio Madureira got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Fernandão Sena successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Victor Pirani charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Pirani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to godines bc getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Victor Pirani hit a great ball. Wilian de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Sena having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Washington Madureira during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Washington Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcinho Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Tiaguinho Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Fernandão Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcinho Furlan in the 71st minute. Marcinho Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, godines bc's goalkeeper Fernandão Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcinho Furlan. Allan Fernandez might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandão Sena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Fernandez ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiaguinho Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes J.A. 100 got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Baiano. Allan Fernandez's late challenge caught a godines bc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to J.A. 100 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Téo Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. godines bc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
