In the 61st minute, one of J.A. 100:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for J.A. 100. The referee gave Luso Carioca a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Evaristo Cardozo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of J.A. 100's Téo Fernandez. 2-3. João Francisco de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Furlan in the 69th minute of the match. Richard de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Téo Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luso Carioca. After 86 minutes, Richard de Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luso Carioca and the J.A. 100 players grew even worse after the yellow card.
