The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victor Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Sena having to interfere. Murilo de Salles's late challenge caught a Limitless FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murilo de Salles helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Limitless FC booed when godines bc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Eusébio Xavier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandão Sena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valério Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Félix having to interfere. If Valério Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Tiaguinho Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Otávio Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Neves in the 21st minute of play. If Jerônimo Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiaguinho Neves scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Otávio Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Victor Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Limitless FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandão Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valério Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Félix having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, godines bc's Valério Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Otávio Félix narrowly saved just below the crossbar. godines bc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Monteiro in the 49th minute. A nice corner shot did that Marcel Monteiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Otávio Félix quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Limitless FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. godines bc were winning 0-1.

godines bc were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Limitless FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcel Monteiro took the corner. The corner led godines bc's Marcel Monteiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Otávio Félix despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Victor Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Sena having to interfere. Tiaguinho Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. godines bc's Fernandão Sena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Carneiro in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, godines bc's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Pontes came free, but Fernandão Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerônimo Pontes in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandão Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victor Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. godines bc's Valério Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
