Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute Délio Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soneca AC's Samuca Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Délio Cabral in the 8th minute of play. Glauco Linares took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Samuca Ramos. Samuca Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luizinho Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, SC CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Alves came free, but Durvalino Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurício Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Délio Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Soneca AC got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Soares. When Glauco Linares came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the SC CORINTHIANS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Glauco Linares couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, SC CORINTHIANS's Délio Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuca Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Paulo Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Délio Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Alves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luciano Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino Chaves having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Luciano Alves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Durvalino Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, Soneca AC's Samuca Ramos got control of the ball when Glauco Linares tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Soneca AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Soares to maneuver through the defense. Durvalino Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. SC CORINTHIANS's Glauco Linares was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 75th minute, Edinho Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, SC CORINTHIANS's Luizinho Zonta tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Glauco Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Samuca Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Soneca AC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Motta. Délio Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luciano Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
