Matheus Cruz struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. José Carlos Munhoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Periquito FC. Kléberson Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute Tadeu Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Alexandre Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Pedrinho Tande. Periquito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Ibiassuce EC's Kaká Schmidt got a free kick in the 16th minute. Pedrinho Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Trevisan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the game, Periquito FC's Matheus Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Carlos Munhoz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Pedrinho Tande came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibiassuce EC's Kaká Schmidt. But to his dismay, Kaká Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a little luck, Ibiassuce EC's José Carlos Munhoz got control of the ball when Matheus Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matheus Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but José Carlos Munhoz made a huge save. In the 46th minute Alexandre Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Trevisan in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeu Trevisan to make the kick off. If Kléberson Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Carlos Munhoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Periquito FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Tande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Velasco in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedrinho Tande saved Periquito FC from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Matheus Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Carlos Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Velasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedrinho Tande having to make a save. When Ibiassuce EC's Alexandre Velasco in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Periquito FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Kléberson Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Ibiassuce EC's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Cruz came free, but José Carlos Munhoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeu Trevisan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedrinho Tande came out and tried to block the shot, but Tadeu Trevisan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 83rd minute. A hard shot 86 in the game by Tadeu Trevisan from a close distance when the talented Pedrinho Tande managed to make a qualified save. Periquito FC's players were relieved. In the 87th minute Alexandre Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrinho Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Trevisan in the 88th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Periquito FC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Tande had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadeu Trevisan. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Alexandre Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibiassuce EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Velasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedrinho Tande breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ibiassuce EC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
