Ibiassuce EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jurumirim SC the free kick. The supporters of Jurumirim SC booed when Ibiassuce EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Schmidt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jurumirim SC's Abelardo Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Trevisan in the 40th minute of play. Alexandre Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Jurumirim SC could leave the field as winners, despite Ibiassuce EC having more of the ball for most of the match.
