Inácio Zanette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Belmiro Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Frederico Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Muleki Atrevido FS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uberlândia Esporte Clube were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Guilherme Arruda was the one to do the kick off. Válbson Alves scored 1-2 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabinho Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inácio Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Arruda in the 63rd minute of the match. Rodolfo Branco hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Frederico Dantas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Inácio Zanette skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederico Dantas got free with Inácio Zanette in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Muleki Atrevido FS's Inácio Zanette got control of the ball when Frederico Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The nice shot from Frederico Dantas in the 76thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Inácio Zanette had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After taking down the ball on Uberlândia Esporte Clube's corner Mário Maranhense fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Inácio Zanette quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Muleki Atrevido FS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Meirelles hit a great ball. When Frederico Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Uberlândia Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico Dantas couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Guilherme Arruda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Inácio Zanette. That made the score 1-3 in the 96 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Uberlândia Esporte Clube eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
