Christiano Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. Ezequiel Zanette in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ian Palmeira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ian Palmeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Christiano Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ian Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Cafezal's Cafu Neiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinei da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 22nd minute Hamílton Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Cafezal's Moisés Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei da Silveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christiano Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Palmeira having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Luciano Cerezo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Torino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cafezal the free kick. If Ezequiel Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Dantas in the 46th minute of play forced Cafezal's goalkeeper Ian Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cafezal's Róbson Vaz got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half Cafezal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hamílton Novaes made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Christiano Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ian Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claudinei da Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Araújo in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the game, Bernardo Figueiredo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cafezal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Torino the free kick. After 84 minutes, Róbson Vaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cafezal and the FC Torino players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Cafezal got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Vaz. After 88 minutes of play, FC Torino's Christiano Dantas made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Torino's Ezequiel Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
