Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernani Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, Ajax's Hudson Faria broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Hortêncio Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Mazza scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernani Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Frederico Paraibano fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ernani Barros, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Ajax booed when Flamengo VM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Flamengo VM's zone, Hortêncio Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernani Barros came out of the goal and Hortêncio Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernani Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Mazza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernani Barros was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Paraibano in the 29th minute of play forced Flamengo VM's goalkeeper Ernani Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ernani Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rodrigo Mazza in the 33rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ernani Barros kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Rodrigo Mazza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ernani Barros was a little too slow when Frederico Paraibano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 4-0. Rodrigo Mazza struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ernani Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajax. 47 minutes into the match, Flamengo VM's goalkeeper Ernani Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruninho Dante. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederico Paraibano to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Flamengo VM getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Duda Sabóia hit a great ball. Rodrigo Mazza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernani Barros having to make a save. Ademir Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Murillo Luz was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Zé Augusto Recife capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé Augusto Recife really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. After having played for 61 minutes, Hortêncio Braga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ajax's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Braga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th match minute, Flamengo VM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Prado to maneuver through the defense. Hudson Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hortêncio Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ernani Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederico Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Barros having to interfere. Rodrigo Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Barros having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rodrigo Mazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ajax's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Mazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernani Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rodrigo Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ajax's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
