Spectators: 7283 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Romário Bertassi took the kick off in the first half of the match. José Carlos Pena came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Electro's Romário Bertassi. But to his dismay, Romário Bertassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sidney Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidney Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caco Rocha in the 15th minute of play forced Electro's goalkeeper Geovânio Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mararupa F.C. defense, Nelsinho Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carlos Pena. The Mararupa F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Pena should have stopped the shot. Fellipe Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Geovânio Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovânio Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Pena having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Romário Bertassi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Carlos Pena. Romário Bertassi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 29th minute, Pedrinho Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernani Severo during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nelsinho Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but José Carlos Pena made a huge save. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mararupa F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Augusto Albuquerque was slow to take the kick. During this time Electro's players had a chance to rest. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nelsinho Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Electro's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Carlos Pena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

A collision led to Electro getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lorenz Masas hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Mararupa F.C. defense, Nelsinho Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carlos Pena. The Mararupa F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Pena should have stopped the shot. Lorenz Masas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. José Carlos Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fellipe Travassos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Geovânio Perez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 74th minute Caco Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovânio Perez was a little too slow when Cesinha de Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 6-1. José Carlos Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Gonçalves in the 78th minute of play. Romário Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Pena having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Mararupa F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Alagoano. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Nelsinho Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Electro's supporters rose to their feet, but Nelsinho Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Electro had played much better football throughout.
