Ian Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Roman Okopny sent off a good shot on target. When Axel Sommervold came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Weather Report Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Sommervold couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Roman Okopny took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ian Palmeira to make any attempt to save it. Ian Palmeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Okopny's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Okopny in the 23rd minute of play forced Cafezal's goalkeeper Ian Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamílton Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamílton Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Hamílton Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Weather Report Club getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ronaldo Silva hit a great ball. Teodoro Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Cafezal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Elivélton Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hamílton Novaes was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 39th match minute, Cafezal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Novaes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Okopny in the 41st minute of play forced Cafezal's goalkeeper Ian Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Okopny did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Ian Palmeira 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moisés Araújo to make the kick off. If Moisés Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roman Okopny in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Palmeira saved Cafezal from getting behind. Cafezal's Ian Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Silva in the 63rd minute of play. Ian Palmeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Lopes in the 65th minute of the match. Ian Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Okopny in the 66th minute of play. When Weather Report Club's Roman Okopny in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cafezal's goalie prevented a goal. The Weather Report Club fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Weather Report Club's Roman Okopny looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 82 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Silva notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Cafezal's Ian Palmeira. Ian Palmeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Lopes in the 85th minute of play forced Cafezal's goalkeeper Ian Palmeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Okopny in the 87th minute of play. Roman Okopny scored 5-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Palmeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Teodoro Fantini managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Cafezal's Bernardo Figueiredo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. There was no doubt that Weather Report Club were the better team. Weather Report Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
