Mararupa F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fellipe Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caco Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Rosado having to interfere. Tiago Gabriel Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Carlos Pena having to make a save. When FC Larizza's Zé Roberto Seco in 27 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. José Carlos Pena guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Mararupa F.C.'s José Carlos Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Medeiros in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Betinho Senna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Carlos Pena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mararupa F.C.'s José Carlos Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Medeiros in the 37th minute of play. After 43 played minutes Mararupa F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jano de Alcântara. In the 44th minute of the match Vitório Bittencourt shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Carlos Pena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fellipe Travassos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Marcelo Rosado made a huge save.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Gabriel Medeiros in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Carlos Pena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Mararupa F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Pedrinho Motta hit a great ball.
