Spectators: 6912 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Moisés de Mendonça kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seraphim's goalkeeper Mathias Mesquita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Pedro Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nilton Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Luiz Fabiano Capixaba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nilton Teixeira. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 12th minute, Tomás Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moisés de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Mesquita having to interfere. Ulisses Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Mesquita having to interfere. Mathias Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Moisés de Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Club Tijuana's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Ribeiro came free, but Nilton Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Maurício Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seraphim's supporters rose to their feet, but Maurício Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30thth minute of the game Moisés de Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seraphim's Mathias Mesquita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moisés de Mendonça scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mathias Mesquita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th minute Moisés de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes Seraphim's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Natã Vieira who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Natã Vieira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mathias Mesquita quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 44 minutes into the match, Seraphim's Maurício Romero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilton Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Pedro Ribeiro was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Zanette got free with Mathias Mesquita in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathias Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moisés de Mendonça went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Club Tijuana's Giovanni Zanette sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathias Mesquita narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Moisés de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Tijuana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 77 minutes into the game, Jefferson Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seraphim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Tijuana the free kick. The supporters of Club Tijuana booed when Seraphim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Natã Vieira in the 79th minute really tested Mathias Mesquita's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Club Tijuana's Caco Alves got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Tijuana's zone, Jefferson Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nilton Teixeira came out of the goal and Jefferson Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Cearense in the 90th minute of play forced Seraphim's goalkeeper Mathias Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilton Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Romero in the 92nd minute of play. Nilton Teixeira came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Seraphim's Aloísio Lara. But to his dismay, Aloísio Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Seraphim supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Tijuana's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Tijuana.
