A collision led to Preço de Paçoca F.C getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Laerte Pena hit a great ball. Edmílson Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vítor Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saiterovisk Soccer Club's protests and gave Vítor Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. Vítor Catarinense hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Preço de Paçoca F.C's Ernesto Catarinense couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Saiterovisk Soccer Club. Saiterovisk Soccer Club's Tadeu Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Moreira in the 28th minute of play. It was beautiful to see Preço de Paçoca F.C's Ernesto Catarinense in action when he in the 31st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Preço de Paçoca F.C's Edmílson Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Saiterovisk Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Moreira came free, but Tadeu Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renato Marinho made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gláuber Arósio sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Aloísio Quadros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tadeu Ribeiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Quintal made a kick off. Gláuber Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 53 played minutes Preço de Paçoca F.C got a freekick which was hit by Vinícius Cosme. When Edmílson Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Preço de Paçoca F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Moreira couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Preço de Paçoca F.C getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Laerte Pena hit a great ball. In the 67th minute of the match Sandrinho Vale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renato Marinho skillfully saved the ball. After 68 minutes, Laerte Pena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Preço de Paçoca F.C and the Saiterovisk Soccer Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Saiterovisk Soccer Club's Tadeu Ribeiro got control of the ball when Edmílson Moreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Despite being the better team, Preço de Paçoca F.C failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
