If Frank Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Suits getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jorginho Prata hit a great ball. Philippe Coutinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Montenegro in the 10th minute of play. Cristóvão Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Suits's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Bastos came free, but Philippe Coutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Ademir Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute of the match Dudu Lima shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philippe Coutinho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Philippe Coutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Marcelinho Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristóvão Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Coutinho having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Rio Preto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Bittencourt came free, but Luiz Fábio Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademir Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philippe Coutinho having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Bastos to strike the kick off in the second half. Suits's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Remo Paraense in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Remo Paraense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Fábio Araújo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Suits's Philippe Coutinho got control of the ball when Ademir Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Frank Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Luiz Fábio Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Araújo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marcelinho Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the match, Rio Preto F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Carvalho came free, but Luiz Fábio Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Marcelinho Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Frank Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristóvão Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelinho Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Araújo having to interfere. Frank Bittencourt might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luiz Fábio Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Bittencourt ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Suits's Frank Bittencourt got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute, Jorginho Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Suits's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
