Real Sorocaba's Cafu Ferreira got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Cristiano Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Birigui Knights EC's Hermínio Valle threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristiano Macedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teodoro Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Valle having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Macedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermínio Valle was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. S. E. Real Sorocaba's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Cristiano Macedo scored to the left of an out of position Hermínio Valle, making the score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Ferreira in the 48th minute of play forced Birigui Knights EC's goalkeeper Frank Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caco Maciel made a kick off. Flávio Mattos hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute of the match Victor Neto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermínio Valle skillfully saved the ball. After 57 played minutes S. E. Real Sorocaba got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Domingues. Frank Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Melo went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Cristiano Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hermínio Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Macedo in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, S. E. Real Sorocaba's Flávio Mattos got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Pinheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermínio Valle was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
