Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Juarês Paes made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, Júlio Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão de Amaral in the 8th minute of play. Régis Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juarês Paes scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Régis Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juarês Paes came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Régis Moura could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Dig F.C's Juarês Paes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Régis Moura. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. If Juarês Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dig F.C's Régis Sá was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Falcão Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis Sá in the 33rd minute of play forced Sao Pao's goalkeeper Régis Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Régis Sá's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Régis Moura was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 38 played minutes Sao Pao got a freekick which was hit by Davi de Moraes. In the 39th minute, Juarês Paes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 41st minute of the match Davi de Moraes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Davi de Moraes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Juarês Paes struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Régis Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dig F.C. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luizão de Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Juarês Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dig F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Dig F.C's Régis Sá sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Régis Moura narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 58th match minute, Sao Pao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio do Vale to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Régis Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dig F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Régis Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juarês Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Régis Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Régis Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizão de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Diego Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Dig F.C's Patrick Pires got a free kick in the 69th minute. Edmílson Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luizão de Amaral in the 72nd minute. Diego Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Luizão de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sao Pao getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Falcão Paraibano hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute Régis Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Régis Sá in the 85th minute of play forced Sao Pao's goalkeeper Régis Moura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sao Pao's goalkeeper Régis Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 89th minute Júlio Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4-0 became the score in the 91st minute when Régis Sá elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Régis Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Dig F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
