Caco Maciel struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Téo Loureiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S. E. Real Sorocaba. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Melo got free with Téo Loureiro in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Melo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Téo Loureiro made a huge save. If Faustão Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Téo Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Maciel in the 31st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Soeiro during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, S. E. Real Sorocaba's Dito Soeiro got a free kick in the 34th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Jerônimo Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Torino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerônimo Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AC Torino's Téo Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Maciel in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Sandro Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustão Guedes made a kick off. Téo Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Caco Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The S. E. Real Sorocaba fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when S. E. Real Sorocaba's Caco Maciel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Faustão Guedes struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Hermínio Valle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Torino. After 74 minutes of play, AC Torino's Jerônimo Toscano made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermínio Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jerônimo Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Faustão Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jerônimo Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Valle having to interfere. S. E. Real Sorocaba's Hermínio Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Guedes in the 84th minute of play. Caco Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the game, Marco Melo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Téo Loureiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Faustão Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Torino's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustão Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermínio Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AC Torino's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because S. E. Real Sorocaba had won, even though AC Torino had held more of the ball.
