Designio FC's Olívio Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Carvalho in the 6th minute of play. Juninho Romero might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philippe Coutinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juninho Romero ran back to his position shaking his head. Suits's Philippe Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Quirino in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Carvalho in the 10th minute of play forced Designio FC's goalkeeper Olívio Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Juninho Romero notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Suits's Philippe Coutinho. Philippe Coutinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juninho Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute of the match Paulinho Recife sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philippe Coutinho skillfully saved the ball. If Juninho Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Marcelinho Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suits's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelinho Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The wind increased when Frank Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the match, Designio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Bittencourt came free, but Olívio Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Designio FC's Olívio Schmidt got control of the ball when Marcelinho Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olívio Schmidt made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Frank Bittencourt sent off a good shot on target. Marcelinho Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Schmidt having to interfere. The supporters of Suits booed when Designio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelinho Carvalho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Suits's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 84 played minutes Designio FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Cordeiro. After 87 minutes Designio FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Remo Paraense who took care of the corner kick. Frank Bittencourt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Schmidt having to interfere. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Designio FC's goalkeeper Olívio Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Suits had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
