Bernardo Vale came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Pernas de Pau's João Paulo Guerra. But to his dismay, João Paulo Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nicolas Paraibano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Vale. The Originals FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leonel Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernardo Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Paraibano in the 36th minute of the match. Bernardo Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Paulo Guerra's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After 42 minutes of play, Pernas de Pau's João Paulo Guerra made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Vale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Paulo Guerra to make the kick off. Leonel Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Originals FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. André Luiz Santos was slow to take the kick. During this time Pernas de Pau's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in André Luiz Santos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Originals FC's Bernardo Vale did a great save. Leonel Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, João Paulo Guerra took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Bernardo Vale to make any attempt to save it. Pernas de Pau played a much better game than The Originals FC and deserved their victory. The The Originals FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
