Raphael de Carvalho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ediberto Marques's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute, The Originals FC's Maurício Lira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raphael de Carvalho. Raphael de Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Muller EC booed when The Originals FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Muller EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Félix to maneuver through the defense. Ediberto Marques received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raphael de Carvalho came out and tried to block the shot, but Ediberto Marques slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 34th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Álvaro Neiva to make the kick off. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Muller EC's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Mota came free, but Raphael de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Muller EC's Álvaro Neiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernardo Vale. Bernardo Vale yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Antônio Carlos de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Originals FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
